Musgrave-Evans and Gilbert Consulting P/L is a family run surveying and town planning consultancy operating from Maldon in Central Victoria since 2006.
Rachael Musgrave-Evans is the Managing Director of Musgrave-Evans and Gilbert Consulting Pty Ltd. She has been a licensed surveyor in Victoria since 1992 and has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Surveying with Distinction (RMIT), and a Master of Social Science in Environment and Planning (RMIT). Rachael is a Fellow of the Institution of Surveyors Victoria and is also a member of Consulting Surveyors Victoria and the Planning Institute Australia.
Rachael has also been involved in surveying education for many years. She has written, designed and delivered course material in surveying and town planning for both RMIT University and the University of Melbourne. Rachael also ran training workshops for candidates in Professional Training Agreements whilst being a member of the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria. Rachael runs training courses through the business to provide surveying graduates with some training and support towards becoming registered as a Licensed Surveyor. These courses can also afford extra guidance to recently Licensed Surveyors or some tuition for people with experience as a cadastral surveyor, who do not have a formal surveying qualification.
Graeme Gilbert is the Survey Manager at Musgrave-Evans and Gilbert Consulting Pty Ltd. He has been a licensed surveyor in Victoria since 1992 and has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Surveying with Distinction (RMIT). Graeme has over 30 years of extensive experience in both urban and rural surveying. He is a member of Consulting Surveyors Victoria and the Institution of Surveyors Victoria.
Mitchell Gilbert has been working for our office since 2016. Mitchell has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Surveying with Honours from RMIT. Mitchell has expertise in cadastral surveying, feature surveys and CAD drafting. Mitchell also has experience in web design and development. He is also the resident IT support guru.
Georgina Gilbert has been working for our office since 2022, after completing a Bachelor of Science (Geology) at the University of Melbourne. Georgina specialises in Feature Surveys, CAD Drafting and Town Planning.
